Attorneys Brian A. McKenna and George T. Fishback were partners in the now dissolved law firm of Sachs Waldman, P.C. Sachs Waldman, P.C. has its origins in the mid-1920s with a single practitioner, Nicholas J. Rothe. Mr. Rothe was regarded by many as Michigan's first labor union lawyer, a reputation initially earned by keeping picketers and strikers out of jail. From these humble beginnings, the firm has grown to more than 30 lawyers, with a main office in Detroit, Michigan.

Along with remaining the preeminent labor relations firm on the labor side in Michigan and one of the leading such firms in the nation, Sachs Waldman, P.C. also has a very substantial and successful personal injury litigation practice, including: motor vehicle liability, No Fault benefits, premises liability, product liability, and general tort litigation.

The firm specializes in the representation of injured workers and their families in industrial and construction accident litigation, and representing injured seafarers and Maritime Workers in Admiralty cases, as well as injured Railroad Workers in FELA cases.
