Amria N. Ahmed received her B.A. summa cum laude (2003) and J.D. (2006) from Wayne State University. While in law school, she was an associate editor of The Journal of Law in Society, and an advocate member of the Student Trial Advocacy Program, where she advanced to the national competition.

Ms. Ahmed is admitted to practice in the State of Michigan, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. She is a member of the Michigan Association for Justice and the National Association of Muslim Lawyers. She has interned at the U.S. Federal District Court for the Honorable Judge George C. Steeh, with the American Civil Liberties Union (Michigan chapter), and for the U.S. Congress Representative John D. Dingell.

Ms. Ahmed began at Sachs Waldman P.C. as a clerk in the Personal Injury Division in 2006, and became an associate attorney in 2007. As of October of 2009, she is of-counsel.
